Sarah Richter Perky joined Hollins, Raybin & Weissman, P.C., in 2007 as an associate in the firm's litigation practice. Mrs. Perky's practice is primarily devoted to family law litigation including divorce, child custody, child support, and adoption; however, she also practices in the areas of personal injury and appellate litigation. Mrs. Perky has significant experience in complex divorce cases involving large estates and contentious child custody issues as well post–divorce disputes.

Prior to joining the firm, Mrs. Perky served as senior law clerk to the Honorable Judge William B. Cain, former Presiding Judge of the Tennessee Court of Appeals, Middle Section. A native of Nashville, Mrs. Perky graduated in 2002 from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Marketing. Mrs. Perky received her law degree cum laude from the University of Memphis School of Law in 2005.

While in law school, Mrs. Perky served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Bernice B. Donald of the United States Federal District Court for the Western District of Tennessee, as a summer associate with the University of Tennessee General Counsel's Office and as a judicial law clerk for the Circuit Court of Williamson County, Tennessee. Her honors and awards include the Dean's Award for Best Appellate Brief, the Dean's Distinguished Service Award, Student Ambassador for the University of Memphis School of Law, and Officer of Phi Alpha Delta law fraternity.

Mrs. Perky is also involved in many professional and civic organizations including the Nashville Bar Association, the Tennessee Bar Association, the Harry Phillips Inn of Court, the Nashville Bar Association Appellate Practice Committee, the Kappa Kappa Gamma Nashville Alumni Association, and the Junior League of Nashville.

Outside the courtroom, Mrs. Perky enjoys spending time with her husband, Jefferson Perky and their golden retriever, Lady, cheering for the Titans and the Tennessee Vols and working on her East Nashville bungalow.
